Becky Currin, RN, L. Ac. has returned to Wilmington, North Carolina following extensive study at East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida. While at East West, she did extensive studies in Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture as well as herbal medicine. She is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture.

Apart from her regular curriculum, she obtained certification in Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy and NAET (allergy elimination therapy). She also did a three month externship at Health South
Rehabilitation Hospital in Sarasota, working in an integrated setting treating stroke and traumatic injury patients.

Acupuncture has been recognized by the World Health Organization, and the National Insitute of Health as effective treatment for many conditions. Among these, migraine headaches, back pain and arthritic pain respond very well to acupuncture and herbs.
